FAQs

WHAT KIND OF ART MEDIA DO YOU USE?

I use a variety of media. For my paintings, I usually create them on raw canvas or wood panel and use acrylics, image transfers, graphite, resin, and acrylic mediums. My prints are printed on a variety of fine art papers using archival inks. I also create mixed-media collages on fine art paper and they include photographs, image transfers, acrylic, and a variety of drawing media.

WHEN WILL YOU HAVE NEW WORK AVAILABLE?

The easiest way to find out when I will be releasing a new collection is by either signing up for my mailing list or by following me on Instagram.

HOW DO YOUR COLLECTION RELEASES WORK?

I tend to work in collections that are centered around one theme and release them on a specific date three to four times a year. Sign up for my mailing list to get early access or follow me on Instagram to get announcements.

HOW WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

PRINTS

Domestic Shipping - USA

I currently work with a fine art printer that ships prints all over the world. I include free shipping within mainland USA for my fine art prints. I work with my fine art printer to ship all over North America, including Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Military bases APO, FPO and DPO but extra shipping costs may be billed to you depending on the current rates. The fine art printer I work with ships using USPS or UPS. They ship prints flat, up to 16 x 20 inches in a clear bag on board in a sturdy shipping mailer. Prints that are larger than 16 x 20 inches get shipped via tube. These prints are rolled in tissue or craft paper and come in a sturdy shipping art tube.

Once your print is shipped, I send you an email with the tracking information.

International Shipping

I do ship internationally but you have to contact me to arrange for a shipping quote. I will send you a link to pay for the shipping fees once the costs are calculated. For international shipping, we use a fine art printer that ships to almost anywhere in the world. They use UPS for shipping. Prints are packaged flat up to 11x14 in a clear bag on board and in sturdy shipping mailers. Larger prints are shipped rolled in tissue and kraft paper and in a sturdy shipping art tube.

Shipping costs are calculated based on package weight and distance. International packages are somewhat out of my control. Border fees, duties, and handling fees may be charged by other countries. Tracking is also quite unreliable with international shipments. With that being said, I have shipped to several countries and it has gone well.

You can send me an email at stephaniebarenz@stephaniebarez.com or fill out this form for international shipping.

PAINTINGS

I ship paintings from my studio in Madison using UPS. Paintings are wrapped in glassine, bubble wrap, and sometimes come double boxed depending on the order. For paintings that are oversized and cannot be shipped via UPS I use a local fine art handler. They arrange crating and ship to anywhere in the world.

Sometimes shipping is included with my smaller paintings but I specify that in the product description on my online gallery. The majority of the time, shipping for paintings will be billed after purchase. Once the shipping invoice is paid, I ship the painting to you and send you the tracking information.

DO YOU FRAME ART OR KNOW WHERE I CAN GET MY ARTWORK FRAMED?

While I don’t personally frame any artwork I can recommend different frame options to you. You can view my framing guide here.

If you are in the US or Canada, I love working with Framebridge. Once you receive your print you can contact them to send you a pre-paid shipping tube and you can choose your frame and mat. Then they send it back to you and it includes free shipping.
